About

Sex Laws.org is a project run by a small team of professionals who devote their time and energy to educational endeavors for the benefit of the public. Collectively, we use our knowledge, skills and abilities to create a central location for "up-to-date" information on laws and issues surrounding Statutory Rape, Age of Consent and Sexual assault.

Why?

Because these issues matter to us and they matter you.

There is a heavy price to pay for ignorance of the laws. Lack of knowledge of the laws, the issues faced by the victims, as well as, the issues faced by the offenders who violate the laws can be extremely damaging to our families, schools and our communities.

We devote many hours to researching the Internet, national news, local news, county, district, state and federal court room news, government body and legislative websites among many others in all 50 states. Our goal is to deliver and display useful, factual, up to date, information on the stated topics, as well as, information on other related topics.

Our team has a common vision and a unique knowledge of:

  • The Internet
  • Government Agencies and Organizations
  • The Criminal Justice System

This gives us the ability to root out accurate, pertinent information and deliver it in a sensible, organized manner at SexLaws.org. Accuracy is our highest priority.

We receive hundreds of anonymous questions weekly. Though we are unable to respond to every question that comes in, the questions we do answer are carefully researched and answered in a thorough manner using the resources available to us. In addition to the many questions we answer at no cost, we offer a service that guarantees a response with 72 hours for a fee. The "Rapid Answer Service"

What about Funding?

We are NOT funded by Government. We are NOT registered as a non-profit entity. We meet our operating expenses each month through the support of our users. Our income is generated by the following sources:

Advertising
Google Adsense (rotating content advertising)
Private advertisers (Professional Services)

Affiliate Products or Services
Being internet researchers, we find products and services that can be of great value and help to our audience. We will, on occasion, use "Affiliate Advertising" to promote a product or service. In doing so, when a purchase is made through the advertising links on our site, a small portion of the sale comes back to us (usually 5%-10%) which in turn helps us meet our operating expenses. More importantly, it helps us to meet more of your needs.

Only products that meet a high quality standard, have a great value and benefit to our audience and come with a satisfaction guarantee, are supported through affiliate advertising at Sex Laws.org

Rapid Answer Service
With a voluntary minimum fee of $5.00 or more – the amount is determined by you and should be based on your perception of the questions degree of complexity or difficulty.
